All in One Instrument for Extraction and qPCR detection of COVI19 virus

D2

The system has been fully validated with CE and IVD being assigned in Germany, China, South Korea

The AIGS system accommodates 4 individual cartridges containing reagents for extraction of the virus and qPCR detection. Patient sample(from buccal swab, lavage etc) is added into the top of the cartridge with magnetic beads; the cartridge is then placed into the instrument. A result is generated in 1 hour 30 minutes for 4 samples.

24 of the instruments can process 96 samples in 1 hour 30 minutes. Ideally suited for testing at site of hospital ward or workplace and eliminates backlog encountered in central testing lab. This instrument gives the Hospital or Car home a viable choice to test on site rather than send to centralised facility. Centralised facility could purchase a number of these units with ability to continuously test in smaller batches rather than pool 96 samples at a time.

The system is in operation in Austria, Germany, Turkey, South Korea and China

Validation was conducted in hospitals in China; report available on request

How quickly could this be deployed and what are the dependencies?

24 units can be delivered in first month . Higher capacity can be developed on request

What is the likely production volume?

Unlimited based on order volume request and prepayment

What are the risks and barriers to using this at scale?

None

Who are you already partnering with on this?

In UK we have submitted business proposal to PHE but yet no reply.

Out of curiosity do you have a requirement for positive and negative controls for your Rapid MiniLab? We have recently launched the SARS-CoV-2 Medium Q Control and Negative Q Controls. These Qnostics controls are designed for use with molecular assays (commercial and in-house) used in the testing of COVID-19.
